Home sweet home!
sister Rita continues to grow in strength in the gulf. Rita is currently a massive category 5 and is poised to hit the Texas gulf coast as early as Saturday. Some are saying this could be the strongest storm to hit the US mainland. Let's hope this girl loses a bit of steam before pounding Texas!!!
So I had just started eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and something out the window caught my eye. The praying mantis living in my garden had just caught a grasshopper for breakfast! It must have been a fresh kill because the poor grasshopper was still alive and moving it's legs! Yuck! The mantis started his feast on the head and continued downward. He ate everything, including all six legs so nothing went to waste! It was all over with in 30 minutes. It was interesting to watch yet sad and repulsive. I felt bad for the grasshopper but I know that the mantis needed to eat. That's nature for you. I lost my appetite after watching this and ended up throwing out the PB&J sandwich. Oh wellz.
"Hey". I asked her if I could take my picture with her. She said okay. Then I got pissed because I didn't have my camera, but luckily I had the RAZR phone. So Paris and I put our heads together and I snapped
the shot. I was soooo excited!!!! I thanked her, Nicole and Lindsy and then I ran back to catch up with Brian who was about to get in a truck with my friends Rick and Paul. Paris and her entourage were walking towards the truck and I did not want them to see me getting into that ugly thing so I told Rick to drive down the street a bit. I started walking and I opened the phone to show Brian the picture I took with Paris and all that came up was a picture of bread rolls. I was pissed!!!! I then realized that I had snapped the picture and forgot to store it in the phone!!!! Then I woke up.
