The Mexican Idol finale was held last night at the Fox N' Hound in Arlington Heights. The final two contestants gave it their all in front of a jam packed audience. Rodrigo gave a superb rendition of "Up On The Roof" by the Drifters while Francisco gave a nearly flawless performance of "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5. America, who will be the next Mexican Idol? The United States Olympic Committee will select either Chicago or Los Angeles tomorrow as its candidate city for the 2016 Olympic Games. Bringing the games here would be awesome! Stir the soul ya'll!

Snow In April?!?

Yeah, so I woke up this morning to this! Crazy! It's going to be one heck of a commute! I'm thinking sick day today (sniffle sniffle). Anyway, I guess I should feel lucky that we didn't get a storm like the one that hit Cleveland over the weekend. Didymops reported up to 2 feet of snow in her hood! And by "snow in the hood" I'm talking about the white stuff that falls from the sky, umkayyy!

Planet Earth

You know, I can't even explain how hooked I am with this new series by the Discovery Channel/BBC called Planet Earth. I've spent my entire morning watching re-runs from last Sundays premiere. And the show is like butter if you have HDTV. It's that good! The series continues tonight so check it out because if you don't, you're missing out on something really amazing and beautiful!
