Arson Suspect Detained For Questioning
Ohio City, OH: Authorities investigating an early morning car fire say they suspect arson is the cause.

The incident was first reported by
The Correl early Sunday morning. The fire damaged a 1986 Chevrolet Nova parked in the 4200 block of John Court. One fireman was hospitalized with smoke inhalation. Residents of an adjacent condemned building were also safely evacuated for fears of the fire spreading due to windy conditions at the time. The blaze closed down all lanes of John Court for several hours during the morning rush hour.

In a written statement, the Cleveland Police Department said detectives have detained 3 year
old Tyrel "Peanuts" Jenkins for questioning in connection with the blaze. Authorities are also searching for another suspect who fled on paws towards the neighborhood near John Ave. The suspect is described as a one foot, grey male Sciurus with a thick furry tale, big cheeks, and large black eyes. If you or anyone else have seen anyone matching this description, you are asked to call the Cleveland Police Department or your local authorities.

First Snowfall Of 2006
Last night I picked Brian up from O'Hare in what seemed to be a major blizzard. Chicago had its first major snowfall of 2006. We got anywhere from 4 to 12 inches across the metropolitan area. Driving home from the airport was AWESOME!

Road Trip To Cape Canaveral
Booo!!! I drove 2 1/2 hours from Tampa to Port Canaveral, FL to watch the launch of NASA's New Horizons spacecraft ...which never happened. The launch of the Pluto probe was scrubbed due to high winds. In the end I did get to meet some cool people, see the Kennedy Space Center from afar and watch some dolphins swim around in the bay which was good enough for me. Guess I'll have to watch the launch from TV tomorrow. :-(

St. Petersburg
I was pretty much on my own today since everyone else had to work. I rented a car and drove to the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. I was really impressed with the huge collection of art they had from my favorite painter. Afterwards, I headed back to meet the gang but before I did that, I wanted to take some shots of the huge Sunshine Skyway Bridge that I had seen earlier from the plane. It was good timing too since the sun was about to set.

A Day At Walt Disney World
Today we spent the whole day at Disney's Magic Kingdom. It was much more exciting for me then everyone else since I had never been to Walt Disney World. It was like being a kid again!!!

Brian, Paul and myself in front of Cinderella's Castle.

Paul and Durka-Durka doing what they do best. Riding a rocket! No pun intended.

Me trying to remove the sword in the stone. I didn't become the King.

Lisa, Jim, Brian, Kim and Paul.

I call this, "Reflection Of A Castle".

Brian and Lisa were totally OCD about the penny "stamp" machines at the park. Paul, on the other hand, was fed up with them and Mickey.

Fireworks above Cinderella's Castle. Isn't it magical?

Our magical day finally came to an end.

Trip 2 Tampa
Last weekend I tagged along on Brian's business trip to Tampa. It was nice to get away from the year-end-close drama at work. The weather was nice and sunny!!! We hung out with Paul, Rick and Lisa in Ybor City the first day. We did a little sightseeing, eating, drinking, eating, shopping and eating. Did I mention we ate? It was pure gluttony the whole day.

E.T. In Chicago?

I took the day off and went to the Adler Planetarium today. It was a lot of fun. Brian and I haven't been there since they added the new addition to the museum. It was a perfect night to go. The city looked so beautiful compared to this freaky looking alien we found inside.

WTF is E.T. doing at the Adler?

2006 New Years Party
This year we passed the New Year in Cleveland with our friends Renee and Jules . We pretty much ate, drank, and laughed the night away. What a way to bring in the New Year!!!

Renee and Juliano hosted the party at their Cribb at The Correll in Ohio City.

Greg drank the night away as you can see from the pic above.

Some of Tookie Williams's thugs from the hood even came and crashed the party.

Brian of course spent the whole evening talking about his dreams, life, aspirations, hypoglycemia, etc. This boy can talk! Poor Penny.

Dave and Penny were voted Couple of the Night.

Looks who still has a glass if liqua in his hand...

The Yentas of the Party.

Members of the Dirty Taco Club that Brian and I hope to join soon.

Thanks Renee and Jules for an awesome party!!! Hope everyone has a safe, healthy, and happy new year! I leave you now with a quote:

Greg aka 'Klunky': "What a deliciously wicked NYE party hosted by Renee and Jules! Thanks for the great evening all---missed church but was still praying to God all morning to make the vomiting stop! Will I ever grow up and learn? Happy New Year to all my bitches here at the Correl!!!!G"

Millennium Park In Winter

Brian and I decided to do our last minute Christmas shopping downtown. We took "the L" into the city and met up with Jose Luis. Before shopping we walked to Millinnium Park to see what the "the Bean", in particular, looked like in the winter. Here are some of those pics and a few others.
