First Katrina, Now Rita
This has been one busy hurricane season. While the south is still recovering from Katrina, her sister Rita continues to grow in strength in the gulf. Rita is currently a massive category 5 and is poised to hit the Texas gulf coast as early as Saturday. Some are saying this could be the strongest storm to hit the US mainland. Let's hope this girl loses a bit of steam before pounding Texas!!!

Predator Of The Garden
So I had just started eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and something out the window caught my eye. The praying mantis living in my garden had just caught a grasshopper for breakfast! It must have been a fresh kill because the poor grasshopper was still alive and moving it's legs! Yuck! The mantis started his feast on the head and continued downward. He ate everything, including all six legs so nothing went to waste! It was all over with in 30 minutes. It was interesting to watch yet sad and repulsive. I felt bad for the grasshopper but I know that the mantis needed to eat. That's nature for you. I lost my appetite after watching this and ended up throwing out the PB&J sandwich. Oh wellz.

WTF!

My Weird Dream
I had a weird dream this morning. Brian and I were walking down the street and I saw Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsy Lohan eating outside at a small cafe. I got very excited. I wanted to get my picture with Lindsy but I was screaming out "Paris Paris!!!". Paris was like, "Hey". I asked her if I could take my picture with her. She said okay. Then I got pissed because I didn't have my camera, but luckily I had the RAZR phone. So Paris and I put our heads together and I snapped the shot. I was soooo excited!!!! I thanked her, Nicole and Lindsy and then I ran back to catch up with Brian who was about to get in a truck with my friends Rick and Paul. Paris and her entourage were walking towards the truck and I did not want them to see me getting into that ugly thing so I told Rick to drive down the street a bit. I started walking and I opened the phone to show Brian the picture I took with Paris and all that came up was a picture of bread rolls. I was pissed!!!! I then realized that I had snapped the picture and forgot to store it in the phone!!!! Then I woke up.

Countries I Have Visited
Wow, this map made me realize how much of a hermit I am. I've only been to 4 countries outside of the US (Mexico, Canada, Germany and France)! I needs to get culturized!!! I think my new years resolution for 2006 is to do a little more traveling outside the good ole U.S. of A.
States I Have Visited
I came upon this website while surfing tonight. This map shows all the states I have set foot in. Looks like I have 34 more states to discover. If you want to create your own map, go to the World66 website.
Update On Katrina
I've always been fascinated by hurricanes. They can be so beautiful to watch yet so deadly at the same time. Here is a radar image of my girl Katrina. She is still a strong category 4 hurricane. The good news is that Katrina is moving due north now and by the looks of it, will be passing just east of New Orleans. Bad news, she will be unleashing huge amounts of rain causing widespread flooding throughout the city.

Katrina Is Going Off!
That girl is about to go off on New Orleans! She is one big momma so it's best not to mess with her. So listen up ya'll... if you live in Louisiana and Mississippi, you best pick up yo sh*t and get the f*ck out!!! That girl will literally knock the wind out of you (no pun intended), ohkayyyyy!!! My girl Katrina is currently a Category 5 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 175 miles per hour!!! This will be the big event to remember in 2005. Mark my word.
