Yesterday Brian, Shep, Chesca, and Aaron went into the city to see the maps exhibit at the Field museum. After that we headed to the Christmasmarket downtown and it was FREEZING!!!! Below are a few pics, and I mean a few since it was so damn cold out!

I was amazed how the Glühwein tasted just like that from Germany. A guy behind the counter told me he imports it from Nürnberg, I believe. Another boot to add to the collection, as well. I, however, wanted my $2 deposit back which she wouldn't give me. Souvenir cup, she said. I told her that's not the way they do it in Germany.
We went to the Weinachtsmarkt again on Thursday. I tried my Deutsch and I ended up calling this nice little German lady "slow" as in retarded. I felt so bad but Brian did some damage control and told her what I meant to say. Ha ha!
